honey,
I see what 
you're offering; 

snug and warm,
a turtleneck sweater
that would have me
gasping for breath.

A uniform blouse,
straightforward and 
crisp, practical buttons
and hooks -

starch always did
make me itch. 

I don't 
want zippers or spandex, 
nothing constraining or tight;
just something real easy
to slip into.
